Commitment counts
Surf life saving clubs around the country are actively working to protect Australia's ecologically sensitive coastal environment.
Our members help via direct action and by sharing information with the community about how to lighten our ecological footprint, as clubs and as individuals.
Examples of positive, practical actions include striving for more efficient water and energy use within clubs, campaigns to reduce litter and protect wildlife on our beaches and working with suppliers to support the development of cleaner, greener rescue equipment.
• Ecosurf friendly beach events
• Rescue equipment - new acquisitions that can lighten ecological footprint
