Energy Saving Technology

Clubs are are encouraged to try to conserve energy and to help educate their members and others in the community of the shared obligation to change behaviour.

We should all become more conscious of using energy and where the potential savings might be possible. 

Simple actions like remembering to turn off lights, computers monitors and other applicances on standby at the end of the day, and opting for water and energy efficient appliances when choosing new ones will make a difference. 

Participation in national awareness raising campaigns like Earth Hour on 28 March 2009 will help even the youngest members of your club to change the way they think about using power.
